Saudi Arabia is one of several locations that our TAC-SWACAA (Total Army Communications-Southwest Asia) project operates. We have Network/System Administrator, Tech Controllers, Outside Plant Technicians, Inside Plant/IGX Telephone Switch, Land Mobile Radio, Video Teleconference, Cable Television, Closed Circuit Television, Hardware/Software and Help Desk technicians at this location. Personnel deployed to Saudi Arabia will work on a military installation (5-day, 48-hour work week) located in Riyadh. Provided accommodations can be a single studio apartment or a shared two bedroom villa which is located on a secure western compound. The compound has its own Mini Mart, recreational facilities, internet access and is in close proximity to other amenities such as restaurants (McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Fuddruckers, Starbucks etc.), food stores (Safeway, Panda etc.) and a vast variety of shopping malls and stores. Travel to and from work is done on a major highway in company-provided vehicles. Employees receive various monetary allowances in addition to base pay to work at this location.
