ITT Systems Division Wins a U.S. Air Force Space Lift and Range Support Contract Modification
White Plains, NY March 30, 2007 — ITT’s Systems Division has been awarded a U.S. Air Force Space Lift and Range Support Contract modification to integrate a functional new command (CT-4) system based at Pillar Point at Half Moon Bay, CA. The cost-plus contract modification award is a follow-on to previous vehicle uplink systems and Command projects. Work on this $14M modification is scheduled to be completed October 2010. This project is for the U.S. Air Force Launch and Range Systems Wing, Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA.
This modification, in addition to the primary Space Lift and Range Support Contract at the U.S. Air Force Eastern and Western launch ranges, makes ITT Systems a key range sustainment and modification provider to the U.S. Air Force’s launch and range missions.
The scope of work includes providing a maintainable command system at CT-4 while replacing the legacy CT-4 site with two modernized antennas, transmitters, consoles and software. This includes development, systems engineering, maintenance, repair and supply support for the Command systems.
