Quality Policy
As an ISO-9000 certified company, ITT Corporation is committed to providing the highest quality services in systems engineering and integration, systems development, and system sustainment, operations and maintenance for our customers worldwide. This objective is achieved through teamwork, effective communication and a commitment to continuous process improvement in every aspect of our business. Our commitment to quality is pervasive throughout our organization and deeply rooted in our corporate culture.
Quality Objectives
- Identify and validate customer requirements/needs
- Assess appropriate measures to ensure quality and timeliness of required products/services
- Establish an effective error detection, control and defect prevention system
- Establish an audit system to track and report on potential problem areas and to ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Continuously review management, technical and cost related processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Incorporate continuous improvement as an integral part of our employee deployed objective
Quality Approach
ITT has established policies and procedures for Quality Assurance that will be deployed to all tasks. These policies and procedures will be tailored as required to support each individual task. For larger tasks, there will be a dedicated QA staff. For smaller tasks, the QA review will be provided by corporate personnel at a minimum of once every six months. One of the keys to successful quality assurance is an independent review and reporting chain for QA personnel. In all cases, the QA results are reported to our VP for Mission Assurance.
